Tommy Shenoi is a Los Angeles/Torino-based ceramicist and researcher whose practice interrogates regeneration and resiliency with fungi. Through cultivating mushrooms and wheelthrowing pottery, Shenoi investigates how ecological relationships shape place, foodways, and cultural identity. Shenoi is currently a U.S.-Italy Fulbright Scholar at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Northern Italy.

Shenoi’s practice is informed by work in conservation, ecology, and food systems. He has contributed to projects at the Robert Redford Conservancy and California Botanic Garden, and was awarded the Sontag Center for Collaborative Creativity Grant in 2023. In 2024, he was selected as a U.S. delegate for Slow Food International's Terra Madre gathering.

As a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, Shenoi conducted international research alongside mycologists, farmers, and chefs across Asia, Australia, and Europe. He has presented his work at the International Mycological Congress (2024) and participated in the Oxford Global Climate Summit and the UN Sustainable Development Goals Conference in Copenhagen (2025).
